Words of kindness are works of kindness, and since they cost so little and are worth so much, we should strew them plentifully all along life's way.

Well, life is proceeding at it's usual pace.

Well, a little less than usual. My best friend was in the hospital last week. She had a small stroke and scared all of us! She is home now, but feeling awful weak. I'll be going out there again today to check on her.

Chris, my 8th grader, is home with a bug of some sort. I suppose now it will go around all of us.

I am having fun selling on Ebay, but it is a lot of work getting things listed and then mailing them out when purchased. I had nine parcels go out yesterday!

I found some early editions of "The Patchwork Girl of Oz" to list, and one of the editions has been bid up to $46.00 so far. The other is at $9.00. That surprised me because the first is the newer edition.

I also found a 60s edition of Winnie the Pooh. I was going to put it on ebay, but it somehow found its way to my bookshelf....oh, well. It will keep company with The House on Pooh Corner and Now We Are Six, which are the actual books I had when I was bitty. They are a bit tattered, but I love them!

Yes, Aunt Patty, I do call Jim, my husband for those who don't know, "James" when I am writing about him. I sometimes call him "Hubert" because that is his given name. He took "James" when he went into the military. And then there is Randy's (my brother-in law) famous "Jimmy-James." I like that one too.

what decade does your personality live in?

quiz brought to you by lady interference, ltd

Well

I have been having so much fun over at Ebay that I have been neglecting my other online stuff. Sorry about that. I did buy a few pieces of vintage jewelry, as well as the first book I ever read by Andre Norton. That was Moon of Three Rings. Of course, the book I bought is vintage and nearly identical to the one I read waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in high school.
